We’ll meet 20 students in the social studies classroom for a presentation about how and why to vote, followed by individual assistance, as needed, in registering to vote. Registration methods include using MyVote.wi.gov (for those students 18 years old with required documentation) and the paper registration application (all other students). Two volunteers will use a prepared slide presentation and short lesson (“The Arithmetic of Voting”); the other volunteer will assist with greeting students, distributing forms, and answering questions.
Parking is available in the high school parking lot. Please enter the front door. Volunteers will meet in the school office by 7:45 am; the presentation will begin at 8 am.
We’ll follow whatever COVID protocols the school may have in place. To be prepared or for your own comfort, please bring a face mask.
Please direct any questions to Lori Miller at 715-279-0468.
