While Wisconsin currently has fair state legislative voting maps, these are only in place for now, until the 2030 Census. We need LEGISLATION to ensure FAIR VOTING MAPS for FUTURE GENERATIONS. The WI Fair Maps Coalition has been working on a draft proposal for an independent redistricting commission, and this will be an opportunity for community dialog and input. The League of Women Voters is an ally of the Fair Maps Coalition. Our chapter has consistently supported the fair maps effort, and LWV-GCV is a co-sponsor of a community hearing at the Dunn County Judicial Center, 815 Stokke Parkway, Menomonie, WI 54751 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
