Amendments to the WI Constitution – What’s the big deal?

The League of Women Voters—St. Croix Valley will be hosting an informational event regarding the 3 Constitutional Amendments that Wisconsin voters will see on their ballots this November. This event is an embodiment of the League’s focus on civic engagement and the importance of informed voting. We do not attempt to tell people how to vote, but think it is important they understand just how their vote will affect their life.
Dr. Neil Kraus, UWRF Political Science Dept., will discuss just what Constitutional Amendments are, how they are created, and how they are used. There also will be time for audience discussion concerning the current amendments.
Light refreshments will be served.
