7th Congressional District Candidate Forum Watch Party in Rice Lake
About this event

This November, the voters of the 7th Congressional District will have the rare opportunity to elect a Congressperson for an open seat. In the primary elections on August 11, there will be three candidates from the Democratic Party and six candidates from the Republican party. All candidates have been invited to take part in the July 21 LWV forum.
This will be a moderated, in-person forum in Wausau, with livestreaming to watch parties at locations around the 7th CD, including Rice Lake.
Candidates will be presented with questions developed by the planning committee and by LWV members submitted in advance of the event. LWV-GCV members are invited to submit questions for the candidates--send via email to morlockjan@gmail.com, by July 6.
The forum itself will begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. Event volunteers for the Rice Lake watch party are asked to arrive at 5:30pm for setup and to assist throughout the event.
Candidate forums are at the heart of the League mission and are excellent opportunities for voters to get to know the candidates and participate in our democracy.
We hope that you can join us on July 21. Invite family, friends, and others in your network who may be interested.
