Voter Registration at Hope Village Residential Community
in Chippewa Falls
Hope Village is a tiny home community for individuals or families that need shelter. The guests are provided guidance on stable housing using a program of shelter, mentoring, and educating. This Voter Registration Drive is a two-prong event. One or two volunteers will knock on doors of the tiny homes to offer assistance with registering or answer questions about voting. One volunteer will remain in the Community Center for those wanting to register or ask questions at the Center. At the start of our shift, volunteers will meet in the Community Center of the facility.
This is a skill-building opportunity for volunteers to learn the special considerations for homeless people as they prepare to register to vote.
Have no prior experience with helping voters to register, or has it been a while and you're feeling rusty? Sign up for the "OBSERVER/TRAINEE" shift and we'll pair you with an experienced volunteer.
