LWV-GCV volunteers will make a brief presentation on registering to vote, on the different ways to vote, and on what to expect at the polls on voting day. Then volunteers will assist those in attendance who would like to register to vote. Some of the attendees are likely to have Spanish as their first language. The library is arranging for one or more interpreters to be with us. All voter registration volunteers are welcome, and you have Spanish language skills, you're especially encouraged to sign up for this opportunity.
If you're a first-time volunteer or would otherwise like some mentoring or supervision during the shift, consider signing up for the "Observer/Trainee slot" on the sign-up page.
Carpooling may be an option for volunteers who would like to share a ride to Arcadia.
