Public School Funding-- Facts and Challenges for the Chippewa Valley
About this event
Quality, accessible public education is a cornerstone of democracy. The current conditions and trends with public school funding in Wisconsin are having an impact on the quality and accessibility of education for our children. Join Chris Hambuch-Boyle of LWV-GCV and the Wisconsin Public Education Network for a rich and eye-opening conversation with four public education leaders in the Chippewa Valley. The more we know, the better we can support public education in our communities.
Presenters in addition to Chris Hambuch-Boyle include:
Chad Trowbridge, Business Manager, Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District;
Eric Wright, Superintendent, Elk Mound Area School District;
Mike Johnson, Superintendent, Eau Claire Area School District;
Rachel Henderson, Board President, School District of the Menomonie Area.
This event is free and open to the public. Please invite your friends, family members, and colleagues who may be interested! REGISTER TO ATTEND at this link.
The League of Women Voters of Greater Chippewa Valley and its co-sponsors are nonpartisan organizations, supporting neither candidates nor parties.
