Meet Menomonie is a resource fair for new and returning U.W. Stout students sponsored by the Menomonie Chamber. 5,000 students, faculty, and staff are expected to attend. LWV-GCV volunteers will work from a table with activities to engage the students, and assist them to register to vote.
Volunteers are invited to sign up for a shift from 3 to 5 p.m., or from 5 to 7 p.m., or both! If you're a first-time volunteer or are feeling a little rusty about voter registration, you may consider signing up as an "observer/trainee" and you'll be paired with an experienced volunteer.
First shift volunteers are asked to arrive at 3 p.m. to help set up., with the official event opening at 4 p.m. Second shift volunteers will help pack up materials and take down the League table.
A campus map for parking and location information is at https://uwstout.cld.bz/Campus-Map#zoom=true. The building is labeled with a number 5 and is called "Sports and Fitness Center". There is UW-Stout visitor parking for a fee nearby at the corner of 13th Avenue and 3rd Street East. If the lot is full, another option would be on-street parking on nearby city streets. Please plan to arrive in time to park and make your way to the Multipurpose Room in the Fieldhouse.
