A voter registration event especially for voters with disabilities and the people who assist them, co-sponsored by the Center for Independent Living for Western Wisconsin (CIL), the League of Women Voters-Greater Chippewa Valley, and Disability Rights Wisconsin. This event will be virtual by zoom AND in-person at the Center for Independent Living in Menomonie. Presenters will offer information on the following voting issues and more: * Registering to vote in Wisconsin: Identification required and how to use My Vote Wisconsin. * Requesting and returning an absentee ballot. * Where to find your polling (voting) site. * Vote 411--how to find information on the candidates. * Making an Accommodation Request to your local clerk. * Curbside voting. A League of Women Voters volunteer will be on hand at the in-person event to assist voters.
