Voter Registration Outreach, National Voter Registration Day

At this outdoor location in downtown Menomonie by the lakefront, LWV-GCV volunteers will assist citizens to register to vote.  Volunteers will interact with members of the public who are passing by enroute to local restaurants and shops or along the riverfront walking/biking path.  As with any outdoor event, dress for the weather.  (Between 201 - 299 Sixth Avenue East)

 

There are two volunteers shifts you can choose from:

  1. 2:30 pm-4:30 pm or
  2. 4:30 pm- 7:00 pm 

We aim for a minimum of two volunteers per shift. If a voter registration activity must be cancelled, volunteers will be notified two days prior.


Volunteers should be comfortable using a tablet or cell phone for voter registration.

Volunteers on the first shift should arrive at 2:30pm for set-up and begin outreach by 3:00pm.

All materials, including a Voter Registration yellow vest to be provided at the event.
